Toilet Blues Movie Review: When People resent God

"Why do not I the only person who elo selametin"

The sentence is one of the key dialogue contained in the film Toilet Blues. Made by women named Anjani (Shirley Anggraini). He ran away from home with Anggalih (Tim Matindas) that has been loved in childhood. Men who later decided to become a priest and committing himself to God to save the souls of the poor.

Anjani jealous. Anjani want to be the only soul that was saved by Anggalih. He was jealous of his Lord can obtain Anggalih without being asked.

Conflict divinity and the most basic human instincts in love is what trying explored in the film from director Dirmawan Hatta. Overall studded segments in this film nan thought deeply about the relationship between humans and God.


Anggalih itself repeatedly slammed on the realities of life forced him to rethink his decision to be servants of God. Faith required him to put forward the total surrender "to give the right cheek when slapped the left cheek", often made him feel useless.
