Film Uptodate | The movie "The Mummy" is a Hollywood movie reboot The Mummy which will be directed by Alex Kurtzman and Jon Spaihts as screenwriters.

The Mummy film will star Tom Cruise, Sofia Boutella, Annabelle Wallis and Jake Johnson and will be produced by the Universal Pictures production house which is scheduled to air on June 9, 2017 (USA).



The Mummy Film Synopsis (2017)

The movie "The Mummy" will tell a navy seal soldier Tyler Colt (Tom Cruise), in his mission to find a group of terrorists hiding in a bunker that is in a desert in Iraq.

When finding and entering the bunker, Tyler and his team find the terrorists killed in it. Upon entering Tyler's bunkers and his team also find some missient forces out of their control.

They realize that the bunker is an old tomb that is hundreds of years old. Chaos occurs when all the members of the Navi Seal start to blame each other and they start attracted by the power inside the tomb.

Tyler was the only one expected to find a black iron sarcophagus inside the tomb. With Egyptian symbols such as Ankh and Eye of Horus. Tyler was then entrusted by the troops to open the sarcophagus and remove what was in it.


But after placing his hand on the sarcophagus, Tyler was soon stabbed with a star-shaped symbol, from then on Tyler's mind was cursed with the vision of the Ashurbanipal king of Assyria The mummy.

Universal Pictures says that this latest movie is an adventure story, action with horror elements along with new characters. Presenting elemental characters from Drakula, Frankenstein, The Invisible Man, the Bride of Frankenstein and Van Helsing vampire hunters. In this film Jake Johnson will play a role in military membership.

Set in a modern-day film setting, Tom Cruise plays a special army with Sofia Boutella who plays a role as a scientist. In this situation, the world awaits the presence of a legend after suffering long enough for the fall of man.
